Breast milk, the main weapon against allergies in infants

Breast Milk turns out to be the main weapon dealing with allergies. Diseases caused by allergies are intimately connected with the durability of your child's body. It is said by the Chief of Paediatric, Gastroenterology and Hepatology Division Dr. v. Haunersches Kinderspital at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich, Germany Prof. Sibylle Koletzko. "Breast milk is the best food for babies," he said.
Breast milk proved to encourage the development of healthy bacteria in the gut, reducing the risk of respiratory or gastrointestinal infections, useful to build a baby's immune system, and the promotion of oral tolerance.

After breastfeeding exclusively for six months, then the companion foods can be given. Food allergy stimulants such as groups of incentive crab and shrimp, peanuts, seafood, eggs and dairy cows could be started. The goal is to cause tolerance.

However, this action is also coupled breastfeeding. Variations of different food sources in large quantities can be given in the second half of the year. The introduction of food that was postponed at a later date not delay exposed to the risk of allergy.

Breast milk contains 700 bacteria

Breast milk is a nutritious food for infants. However, scientists have discovered something that will make you surprised, contained an average of more than 700 species of bacteria in the mother's breast milk.

In the research revealed, 700 species of bacteria are in the colostrum, particularly Weissella, Leuconostoc, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus and Lactococcus bacteria.

But the baby grows up, the bacteria contained in breast milk changes, too. Most dominated by Veillonella, Leptotrichia and Prevotella.

Pregnancy status affects the diversity of bacteria in the breast milk. Like, mom with overweight or who perform Caesarean due to certain conditions, tend to have less bacterial diversity.
